Question 1: Who do you guys want as our bench coach?

Question 2: I hear the Mets will spend money while other teams, mainly middle-market ones, will reduce payroll. Do we spend on big names or just go for supplementary players with the intention that our core will be back and healthy?

  27. Comment posted by John on November 15, 2009 at 2:07 pm (#1112224)

In the past years (with the exception of last yr’s utter crap) we have always had the superstar talent…..the problem was the core always accounted for such a huge majority of our team….in other words….lets get a bunch of decent supplementary players.

I know the popular decision is to get the “big names” but we already have the big names…..we need decent role players.
