from mc:
In his most recent Marchand Minute for 1050 ESPN Radio, Andrew Marchand cites an associate of the
Wilpons as saying the only way to get the Mets to spend money this offseason will be public pressure.
so….we have to all start bitching LOUDER!!!!

Gameday is saying Pelf is throwing a 96 mph four seamer. If that’s true, that’s a good sign.
Comment posted byDLon September 18, 2009 at 8:14 pm (#1083026)
he’s been throwing 94-96 consistently for a while now, i think
Comment posted byLunkwill Fookon September 18, 2009 at 8:16 pm (#1083027)
Earlier in the season, his four seamer was only going at about 92-93 and his two seamer was 89-90. John, you know if his two seamer has regained any movement?
Comment posted byDLon September 18, 2009 at 8:20 pm (#1083028)
i hate wilson valdez
and that’s serious not me pretending to be ramon pretending to be me
Comment posted byLunkwill Fookon September 18, 2009 at 8:21 pm (#1083029)
Wilson Valdez, by the way, is awesome.
Comment posted byJohnon September 18, 2009 at 8:24 pm (#1083030)
so far tonight he’s averaged 93.28 with a max of 95.5
thats a bit off since its classifying all pitches as four seamers and we know thats not true.
his movement is -8.02 horizontal and 6.96 vertical
But again they havent separated four seam and two seam……..actually…….they are very grouped together this start for some reason.
So erm in other words…..its hard to tell lol
Comment posted byJohnon September 18, 2009 at 8:26 pm (#1083031)
He’s definitely throwing harder tho.
Comment posted byDLon September 18, 2009 at 8:28 pm (#1083032)

Comment posted byDLon September 18, 2009 at 8:31 pm (#1083035)

i guess they aren’t that dumb
Ha ha ha, FOL!!!
lmao that ending.
we have to get one fucking season where everything goes our way
we are owed big time after this year
We need to go 162-0.
I would settle for one goddamn no hitter this year right now.
i mean this is ridiculous
i’ve lost count of how many absurd losses we’ve had this year
and then think of all the injuries on top of that
I want my damn no hitter.
lol!
from who, pat misch?
redding?
this team is absolutely finishing 63-99
and no one will end up getting fired
the phillies will at least make a run at another title
then next year we slog through a 75-80 win season and watch the remaining nl east teams all take major steps forward
Lots of bums have thrown no-nos. How about one of the bums throws one for us.
pretty empty in a season like this
Well here’s my question, if we throw a no hitter what do we think of this season?
WE CAN DO IT.
man I wish we faced Heilman every day…sorry cust.
It really isn’t. 1992 was much much much much worse.
