Ramon…I just want them to make the playoffs…how they get there is not important to me.

G-fans better hope Eli is on one of his hot streaks entering the playoffs. If he’s off, they could be 12-4 with homefield and still be in trouble.

I don’t know what to think of the Iggles, Ramon. They lost a terrific middle linebacker early in the preseason, and their D Coordinator passed away, sadly. I love some of their skill players, they have a ton of speed, but if the Eagles defense isn’t what it’s supposed to be, I don’t know if the offense will totally compensate for that. And McNabb/Westbrook are injury risks every year. They could either be really good this year or 8-8. I don’t have a good read on them.

I think the NFC West will be owned by the Seahawks though.

I always like the Eagles. I think they generally overachieve with lesser talent than the Giants or Cowboys. But this season they looked stacked in some skill positions for once.
You are right though, it all depends on Westbrook and (to a lesser extent) McNabb being healthy.

I’m mostly concerned about their defense, Ramon. That was always the straw that stirred the drink for them and without their DC, we’ll have to see what impact that has. Jim Johnson was a genius at getting pressure on the QB. And that’s the name of the game. The intimidation factor may well be gone. We’ll see how it plays out.

Jim Johnson is a big loss, no doubt.
I dont worry so much about personnel changes with them. They always lose guys on defense and put up a good team fron there. But now that the genius coordinator is gone, its a worry for sure.

This Giants fan will worry about that if and when the time comes. First things first.
