Bale is a freak. Just watch machinist. He was suppose to lose “some” weight for the part and in turn wound up losing 1/3 of his body weight. Guy takes his job way too serious.

That’s crazy!! So there’s a good chance you got a defective firework that could have killed someone. If you can’t trust firework manufacturers, who CAN you trust?

lol…..we were so freaking lucky. There was plant and bush shrapnel everywhere. We had black powder marks on our shirts and pants and a few very minor burns on our arms and legs. Never again man. I learned my lesson.

I heard the rumors that the dude is a wacko but damnit I didn’t know how bad. Here is an insight into his batshit craziness from an article by GQ magazine:

Q: The bodybuilding and unbuilding you’ve done for your roles is alarming—the former all the more so for its being accomplished without any animal protein.

Bale: Actually, I’m in and out of the vegetarianism now. But yeah, the majority of the building up you’re talking about was done when I was still a vegetarian.

Q: When did you fall off the wagon?

Bale: Just after I’d completed American Psycho [for which Bale, as the preening sociopath Patrick Bateman, got furiously ripped].

Q: Dietary reasons? Or something to do with the character?

Bale: I was up in Toronto and went to see that movie Life Is Beautiful. By myself. And when I came out, I had a craving for blood unlike anything I had ever experienced since I decided to go vegetarian at the age of 7. It was a compulsion. It was undeniable. I went to several restaurants, one right after the other, and got the biggest, bloodiest steaks I could get my hands on. It was the first time I had tasted flesh in almost twenty years.

Same thing with organized religion I suppose. How many people are Catholic or practicing Jews because they were indoctrinated at an early age and never questioned those beliefs?

It’s actually from the movie. He says it to one of the prostitutes he kills. He tries wrestling her down to the ground and she kicks him in the face to get away.

I was just playing on his T3 on the set blow up where I envision him going off on the crew of every movie he works on. Even Newsies.
