It’s awful, bcus. I would rather take a 240mm gyuto to the throat then have to drive in Brooklyn. Only city worse to drive in the USA is Boston.

Yall should drive in San Juan, especially in Old San Juan. The worse city to drive in the USA.

Well I’m not taking traffic into consideration. LA traffic is second to none. But it’s a fairly easy city to navigate. Boston is an absolute abortion and should be blown up. Brooklyn’s streets are easy to navigate, but everybody in that city is too aggressive. Plus they’re all shitty drivers. Plus the roads suck. Always construction. Everywhere. And the buses! How many fucking buses do you need?!? Can’t drive in the right lane in Brooklyn which means you have to stay in the left and make sudden lane changes when someone makes a left turn. Nightmare.

Combine the traffic of LA and the poor spatial planning of Boston and you get the San Juan metropolitan region. Like Boston, San Juan is an oldschool American city built in the colonial period where horse and carriage were the main mode of transportation and not car. Like LA, you get the massive overuse of automobiles compared to public transportation as well as all of the fog that accompanies it.

Problem is rapid population growth combined with a lack of foresight, Dep. Same goes for every borough. Manhattan, Brooklyn, SI, Bronx, Queens. All suck. Brooklyn is by far the worst, but they are all hellish drives. Roads were built to accommodate the population at the time. And now the City government does everything in their power to make driving in the 5 boroughs absolutely maddening. Construction, terrible traffic patterns, alternate side… fuck you NYC!

fangraphs was kinda funny with him, called him the definition of replacement level

good enough to keep getting shots and bad enough to keep getting dropped when the team realizes it can do better.

fangraphs had Ayala at 0.0, 0.0. 0.1 the last 3 yrs measured by replacement level.

    - he is definitely consistent, not bad/good, considering in…
    - 2007 and 2008, he pitched hurt, overused by the NATS and misused by the METS

It wouldn’t hurt to take a no-cost chance on him again in a week and have him and Ollie go cosa-nostra Culican-style on some AAA batters.

Thanks Dep for the fangraphs.com reference. Great shit over there!

Long island is a lot like LA in regards to the nightmarish traffic. Long, skinny island with a high population, loads of traffic and narrow highways. Brilliant.

Hey, was it part of the deal for the funding for the stadium that they had to run 50% anti-smoking ads on SNY? Really love the one where they pull the bacon out of that chick’s neck.
