Dep no likey the spicy food. It’s quite amazing how much alcohol the man can put away without blinking but one plate of lamb vindaloo keeps him awake at night!

From my personal experience Ive learned to wait til the last minute. But, I also use stubhub. You can print your tix at home and its just easy as hell

I’ve heard waiting is the way to go, and you can find deals on stubhub, etc. but of course its riskier and you may get stuck buying something you dont really want and not really saving all that much

    tough call!

    LMAOOOooooOoOoo

    it is kinda ironic

I think the years of drinking hard alcohol in my 20s and doing various other bad things have just nuked my stomach by this point. i used to be able to handle more food of that nature than i can now

the people i’m going with aren’t big baseballs fans, so i don’t want to splurge on tickets..cheap would be nice.

    MetsBlog post:

Schneider is a bomb, he stinks. This is the kinda change we have needed. Let these “kids” show the MLB players how to play with heart and win because they want it more than the other team. Let the pitcher underestimate us and make him pay, let the other team get lax and think they have the game won before it starts. When our DL team comes back they can see how a real team plays and picks each other up.

    kill me?

BOSTON – The author of a health book has sued Elisabeth Hasselbeck, accusing the co-host of ABC’s “The View” of plagiarism.

The lawsuit, filed Monday in federal court in Massachusetts, alleges that Hasselbeck lifted “word for word” content from a book written by Susan Hassett, a self-published author on Cape Cod.

Hasselbeck’s book, “The G-Free Diet: A Gluten-Free Survival Guide,” has appeared in the past month on several best-seller lists.

Hassett said in the lawsuit that she sent Hasselbeck a personal note and copy of her “Living With Celiac Disease” book as a courtesy after the television celebrity disclosed she had the illness last year.

Celiac disease is a digestive disorder associated with people who cannot digest gluten, a protein found in wheat, rye and barley.

Hassett said Hasselbeck’s book “slavishly reproduces” lists and passages from her own work and includes inaccuracies about celiac disease that can be “misleading and dangerous” for people with the illness.

A lawyer for Hassett declined to comment Tuesday. A phone message left for Hasselbeck’s agent was not immediately returned.

The lawsuit seeks to block the sale of Hasselbeck’s book and asks that copies of it be withdrawn from distributors and stores.

Francesa just asked Minaya if the Mets have any prospects that other clubs are asking for, after Fernando Martinez. Omar mentioned Holt, Mejia, Davis, Flores, and Valdespin. I was surprised to hear him mention Valdespin and not Tejada.

Francesa also asked him if he expects to sign a bat, and Omar said there aren’t any available.

Honestly he is correct. I mean to give up guys for Dunn a guy you couldve just signed makes no sense, Holliday isnt exactly tearing it up with the A’s. I dunno. Im just hoping to stay close and get guys back. Billy Wagner and Pedro Dos out of that pen against the Philth is gonna be awesome. (Of course if Wags comes back 100%)

“Sign a bat”, didn’t realize there were many FA bats available period.

There’s a market, just that Omar doesn’t have the chips to sit at the table.

I don’t know if people will be so high on the Phils if they continue playing poorly. Not even poorly as getting swept twice in a row at home but their pitching in really an issue. The starters have been a mess nearly the whole season, even moreso after Myers went down. Lidge was regressing and now his replacements aren’t faring much better. Not saying that the Mets can’t be given a mulligan for the amount of injuries they’ve sustained but if you get past the grit of the Phillies I think the NL East is well on its way to becoming a wide open contest.
