    What happened to our lovely format? :(

    Brant Rustich… yes please!

    Josh Thole can really, really hit. Given our catcher situation, or lack thereof, going into 2010, I bet he has a legitimate chance to be a late-season callup this year.

    IKE!

    Okay, the format was weird for a little bit there!!!

    I’M NOT CRAZY!!!

    @Danny:

    Yea, sometimes it posts that way and I have to go in like a goon and repost it. No biggie.

    Duda has 15 walks in 44 at-bats.

    Thanks Eric!

    The thing with Duda is, is he ever going to show any power? His contact rate is still ehhh for his lack of power. He’s 6′4″ and 225 lbs, you would hope some power would develop.

    I’m not comparing the two necessarily, but Youkilis (a pretty big guy) showed very little power in the minors until AAA when he was 26.

    Youk’s contact rates were astoundingly good. I do like the comp though. It certainly shows we should be patient with Duda, particularly since he appears to have such a discerning eye.

    Ike Davis may just be starting to put it together….which is good!

    Thole’s splits against lefties are heartening even if they are a small sample.

    Carson still intrigues me. So does Rustich.

    Carson is wierd. He has a terrific K to B ratio (5 to 1) but he gives up alot of hits.

    He also has Perez-syndrome: he follows one really good start with another bad one.
