I was under the impression that in vitro fertilization could be controlled. That if done properly, a woman doesn’t necessarily have to spawn an ungodly amount of multiples. And considering she already had 6 children prior, that was simply irresponsible. Old news and I’m sure talked to death here, but that’s mho.

You don’t look like a jerk. Obviously, I’m bothered by certain phrases that you guys believe to be harmless. Lunk didn’t see anything wrong, either. Easier for me to go do something else than stick around and complain. As Shea says - if I don’t like the conversation, I can leave.
But we have a disconnect. Piece of [fill in any slang] are all equivalent phrases. I agree. I just find all of them to be a little much. Maybe it is a woman thing, maybe it’s an age thing. Or maybe it’s just my own quirk. But I know that you didn’t intend to be offensive. So we’ll forget that I said anything.
And Booey - there’s been 4! ;-)

I agree. I remember reading that most fertility doctors won’t implant more than 2 embryos at a time in women under the age of 35, so it seems like she found an unscrupulous facility that was willing to overlook the health risks.

OK. I understand. It wasn’t that I was referring to a particular part of a woman’s anatomy, but rather the phrase itself. You find it to be foul and obnoxious. You believe that it is offensive to women in general.
I agree. It is. But when I use a phrase like that here, I don’t think that anyone really believes that I look down upon the female gender. I just take it for granted that everyone knows that I’m joking around. You did not.
For that I apologize. Though I gotta be honest, I can’t promise you that I won’t offend you at any point in the future! but if I do, know that it is not intentional. :)

Nats Will Not Pursue Orlando Hudson
By Drew Silva [February 12 at 7:13pm CST]
According to MLB.com’s Bill Ladson, the Nationals have dropped out of the running for free agent second baseman Orlando Hudson.
General manager Jim Bowden declined to give a reason why Hudson will not be a member of the team, writes Ladson.
The Nationals must feel comfortable with what they have in Ronnie Belliard, Anderson Hernandez, Alberto Gonzalez and Willie Harris. Belliard and Hernandez would seem to be the front-runners for the starting second base job. Belli hit .287/.372/.473 with 11 homers and 46 RBI in 96 games last season, and Hernandez batted .333 with 17 RBI in 28 games after coming over from the Mets in late August.
