Ok. Earlier this week I posted stories about a wife who burned her husband’s wang, and the guy who wants his kidney back from his wife.
I can top it. Per MSNBC:
A texas death row inmate plucked out HIS OWN EYE and told authorities he ate it.
He had plucked out his other eye in 2004 prior to his trial for killing his wife and 2 children.

music business lost their jobs - all this week, at different companies
If the Redding thing is for real, he’s a damn sight better as the #5 pitcher than overpaying for and giving multiple years to Wolf or Garland.
As long as Perez or Lowe gets signed, Perez preferably, its fine. I’d personally roll the dice on Niese as the #5 and pour the money into replacing Limpy but… I can see where some people might consider him too green in April.
I am no stats guy, but why the absolute hatred for garland….his numbers looked better than Redding’s to me….especially in IP…
Because Garland expected a lot more money and a lot more years. Garland was swinging around the FA market acting like he was a strong #3 pitcher, maybe even a #2 on a team that’s weak for pitching.
He’s… servicable at the back-end of your rotation and he’s been looking for money like the only reason he’s not an All-Star is politics or something.
Redding seems to know what he is and might just be happy to get thrown a coupla mil and not be playing for the Nationals.
So you like him better because he is not full of himself.
Garland’s a better pitcher..better pitchers get more paper..
Niese isn’t ready. Redding is a suitable placeholder for now.
Also, don’t be surprised if Omar signs another #5 so he can bring 6-7 starters to spring training.
I believe that’s the plan once Ollie/Lowe is resolved.
BTW, what the hell could’ve been in the Braves 5-hour video that they played for Lowe?
