I think dep is right on both accounts. I don’t have a clue how these persons minds work. Also, they hit targets where all the westerners are…2 luxury hotels, cafes etc. They came into the hotels with AK 47’s asking for the Americans and the Brits.

The police are still battling the terrorists. it was 8 separate attacks with AK 47’s and hand grenades. The hostage situation seems to be ongoing. Terrorists asked all patrons in a restaurant ( in a hotel) with british and American passports to follow him and took them up the 18th floor of the hotel. Yikes!

Over the river and through the woods ( well, not exactly the woods) to my sister’s. You?
Up to my brother’s. A huge family thing. All of my cousins, aunts, uncles. There’s usually more than thirty of us. It’s pretty crazy.
Sounds like fun. Who does all the cooking? Please send June et al my best!
My brother makes two turkeys and some of the sides. The rest of us fill in other entrees, more side dishes and desserts. We always have way too many desserts, because every woman in my generation brings at least one. I usually bake two cakes.
I will pass along your regards to June. I’m certain she’ll want me to return them! :-)
Wow! What I’m grateful for this Thanksgiving….Ann Coutler fell down the stairs and had to have her jaw wired shut! Karma kickback is a bitch….lol!

Actually, my grandmother is a serious teetotaler. We don’t usually drink on Thanksgiving and if we do, it’s pretty discrete. But none of my aunts, uncles or cousins can tell us apart anyway! I have one uncle who knows the difference, but he only learned so that he could routinely call us by the incorrect name. He thinks it’s a laugh-riot.

Seriously. I got my good stuff, my girlfriend got hers, and a buddy of mine dropped his off. So I literally have like 40 some good beers in my fridge that I can only look at. They make the Bud Light next to them look like crap.
But, living up here, I get to drive 20 minutes, which is much more enjoyable than the train.

It’s meant to be drinked/drank/drunk right then, but we have purchased a extra to tide people over if they show up long before the exchange starts.
And besides, I’m not just the host, I’m an active participant. The twelve beers I’m getting should be enough to get me loaded. And if not, I’ll take some of my girlfriend’s, who will not ever drink the twelve she is providing (in one night).
