Cruz has the kind of non-classic, quirky beauty that I can hope to have a chance with.

    She is total girlfriend material.

    And then I woke up.

the most beautiful women he’s ever seen were in Spain and Argentina.

I haven´t been to Argentina yet, but from the Argentinians I´ve met I´d have to agree.

Yep, Melrose gone, Tocchet as interim.

That’s right, the guy that just recently got busted as part of a large illegal gambling ring is now the head coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Yo 71, you an independent/freelancer or do you design for a company?

Born and raised in Edison NJ. Except for college at Cornell and 6 months in Austin TX, I lived my whole life in central Jersey.

Right now I’m working a dull corporate gig (took it solely for the money) and designing on the side (freelance).
For most of my career, I’ve been an art director in the music industry.

Same here, 71. Story of my pathetic fucking life. If my son even dares touch a crayon, he’s getting his hand smacked.

I had a deep love for my craft. Key word there is “had”. There’s no money in this industry unless you are one of the very fortunate to just hit it right. I know some very gifted artists/designers who either barely practice or don’t do it at all.

Then again I know a few who made the right moves and just caught the wave. My timing however sucks. Wrong place, wrong time, wrong everything. And I just finished paying off my student loans 5 months ago!

    from MLB.com:

BRAVES NO LONGER ACTIVELY PURSUING PEAVY

Braves general manager Frank Wren said Friday that he is no longer having active negotiations with Padres general manager Kevin Towers about Jake Peavy. This might not completely rule out the possibility of Peavy joining the Braves in the future.

But it proves after a six-week pursuit of Peavy, the Braves are moving on and putting more of an emphasis elsewhere to satisfy their need for starting pitching.

“We’ve notified the Padres that we’re moving on to pursue other opportunities and players,” Wren said. “We’re no longer actively pursuing Jake Peavy. We have other options out there.”

The Braves have always put an emphasis on building their big league roster internally. As this week progressed, they began to feel more uncomfortable about the package they were offering the Padres. Yunel Escobar, Gorkys Hernandez, and either Charlie Morton or Jo-Jo Reyes were believed to be among the players Atlanta offered.

“A deal like that would have taken away too many of our internal assets,” Wren said. “It doesn’t make sense based on the way we think about building from within our organization.”

Buster Olney of ESPN.com reports that the Yankees have offered CC Sabathia a six-year contract worth “slightly more” than $137.5 million.

That’s the record-setting total that Johan Santana got from the Mets last winter. The Mets are also said to be in the mix for Sabathia, but every indication is that the Yankees are willing to beat just about any offer. Nov. 14 - 5:26 pm et

    dep

If you like video games, and hot naked chicks, then I think you’re really going to love these Vikki Blows topless pictures from Front magazine that recreate scenes from the video game Devil May Cry. Or maybe you don’t like video games, but the site of Vikki Blows topless, firing guns, and holding a really big sword are just about the sexiest things I’ve ever seen, and while I don’t actually play video games, if they were more like this, I really think I would.
