Just read that Oberkfell and two other coaches from last season will no longer be on the staff. Rather they will be reassigned within the organization.

Ober was the only one on that entire staff I wanted back. The guy does a fantastic managerial job within the Mets farm system, and this is how he is rewarded? Nice.

Every time I consider any version of that type of swear, I picture my grandmother standing behind me shaking her head.

Doesn’t prevent me from saying it! But I have a very difficult time typing it. Kind of limiting on a game thread after the 6th inning or so.

But it makes sense that he might be more important to the organization (and more visible) as a AAA manager. I have no idea if that is the reason, but it makes sense.

Doc, I’m pretty sure the Philly fans would have booed anyone, it just happened to be her. I am curious what kind of reaction she gets…..this stupid state is hard to judge…It’s bright red throughout, except the urban areas around ST. L and KC……but hockey is blue collar here so who knows. I’d hit here with a replica zamboni if I could.
