Pascucci hitting .291 with an OBP of .415. For the love of all that is holy, he’s selective and has power. BRING HIM UP!!!!!!
(and shoot Marlon)
Stop with Pascucci! He stinks! Go Cancel!
How can you possibly say Pascucci stinks? His 62 unproductive ML ABs for the dying Montreal franchise show you that? He’s never gotten a chance. He’s raked everywhere he’s been for the last 4 years.
I know Hubie was joking; I think Tim is too, but I’m not so sure. John Rodriguez should be called up as well.
How’s the health of F!?
And by the way, does Rodriguez even exist? I’ve never heard of him having a single at-bat. Is he a joke?
Mejia with another good outing for the cyclones. Has 19 K’s in 18 IP as an 18 y.o. and would have a much better era if Angel didn’t pagan one for a 2B that should’ve been an out.
I’ll say it until somebody notices that it is true, like, 95% of the time…
When you’ve been hanging around in the minors for ten or fifteen years, you learn how to play quite well against guys who don’t really have a major league talent profile…
And you can put up some really nice-looking numbers doing it but… especially in AAA, where so much of the roster space are guys who are really just there holding space as cheap last-ditch emergency plans… it doesn’t mean a thing.
Val Pascucci can hit off Jose Limas and Claudio Vargases and Tony Armases and Brandon Knights and it doesn’t mean a blessed thing about his ability to hit against actual three-dimensional major league talent.
At this age, at this point in his career, if he could’ve produced at all, he’d be on some major league roster somewhere, producing okay numbers cheaply for a team that wanted to save money.
Hundreds of scouts have seen the dude and he’s rotting down in AAA. Fifty million Elvis fans can’t be wrong.
