Thanks for the memories Mike. Hope you goes in as a Met but it’s gonna be a tough call for the boys in upstate NY.
He played about 250 more games with the Mets and his counting number reflect that but his rate numbers were better with the Dodgers. He had more of his prime in LA but more of his career in NY.

I’m just getting off work, so I’m sure I’m late in this discussion, but I’m pretty disappointed to see that Willie is playing the race card now. I have been one of his biggest supporters to date, but this really seems like a desperate attempt for some respect. Really thought he was above that. Being from NY, he more than anyone should have known the demands of the job, especially, after he was so fortunate to retain his job after the teams historic collapse last season.
I am pleased to announce I missed the 1st game. I am also [leased to announce I am on my way to Atlanta to slay Tom Glavine. Just didn’t want you to read it in the papers without hearing it from me first. That is all!
