Every time I see Zito’s name I’m thankful the Mets didn’t end up signing him. This version of Zito in NY would have been a disaster. Plus, we still wouldn’t have an ace.

Calling all Hollywood agents. We’re already working on our treatment to turn this story into a coming-of-age flick: A teenager from Texas has been convicted of ordering a credit card in his father’s name and using it to pay for prostitutes.
Ralph Hardy, 13, has been convicted of fraud and was sentenced to a three-year community order for taking his friends on a $30,000 shopping spree that culminated with junk food and a round of “Halo” on Xbox with a couple of hookers in a motel room.
Police were notified by a concerned deliveryman who had dropped off supplies of Dr. Pepper, Fritos and Oreos at the motel room. The kids asked the man where they could “score some chicks,” indicating that they’d made a bundle at a “World of Warcraft” tournament and were willing to pay for some relaxation.
