Geek Day 2008
By popular demand, it seems that PNC Park in Pittsburgh has become the unanimous favorite for this year’s annual Geek Day. The Mets will be in Pittburgh the weekend of August 15, 16, 17 and 18th. August 16th ( Saturday) is a 7:05 start time and will be our official Geek Day game. I will be glad to get it organized, but I need a little cooperation, por favor. All those who are thinking they might attend, please post how many tickets you would be interested in. Then I can call and get all the info. I will pass it along to everyone and we can go from there. I’m in. Lets put me down for myself + 1 for now. I may have a few add-on’s, but 2 total for now is good.
i need one tix for now. i need to resolve some schedule conflicts.

Shea, I’m pretty sure I can use three. I’ll get confirm soon. I’m going to be on vacation with my sisters and brother, so I have to talk my sister into coming, too. Since I’ll have to take the car. If we’re going anyway, I’ll bring my niece.
PJ, will you be in Stone Harbor? If we can pull this off, we’ll be driving from Avalon. Maybe we can give you a lift.

i am not exactly sure where i will be. my research program ends August 4th, but I have my place in cape may until the 16th.
i am supposed to start my new job in myrtle beach on the 16th, but i don’t think i have to physically be there on that saturday.
there are some other complications as well…
BUT, if I am in Stone Harbor, I would be happy to carpool.
Alex and I are on board, and I’ll be bringing Mrs. Geek (Kim) along for the fun and festivities as well.

As much as I would like to go Pitt is a littel far for me, wife and a wild 3 year old ;(
