completly agree with murton. in his prime and a good bat. some stathead in the org should be able to find some AAA who isnt highly thought of for a RH bat. if i bought my diamond mind season disk for this year, i could do it

I don’t get how Omar can rationalize to a fan base that a guy who is hitting .212 was the best option. And where does this versatile come from? The guy plays third base. I wish some reporter had the cajones to challenge him with this, but I am sure no one will.

Orioles sent outfielder Tike Redman outright to Triple-A Norfolk.

Redman was battling Scott Moore for the roster spot that apparently just went away with Jay Gibbons’ suspension being put on hold. He’ll be brought back if the Orioles are ever successful at dumping Jay Payton’s contract.

That’s really terrific, Chris. Thanks a lot. I appreciate the objectivity.

Now we just have to hope that there is an interesting trade in the works and Tatis will become a moot point.

::fingers crossed, repeating “please please please”::

Funny, Chris. I was thinking that we should have block quoted my question so no one will be confused.

    I’ll fix it:

    Attention Geeks:

Chris is in no way happy about the prospect of Tatis on the bench!!!! His previous comments on Tatis were stated in conjunction with an intellectual exercise!!! They do not reflect his actual opinions at this or any other time!!!

    Thank you.
