We simply reform DWright, by forcing him to participate in cock fights, record a rap and reggaeton song, and forcing him to buy bling!

    hahahaha, awesomeness.

    Huh?

Sorry, but dreaming is the easy part for 99.9999% of the population.

If DWright got caught roiding it would be the worse thing ever. I might have to go JD Salinger and seclude myself from the world.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — The New England Patriots did not designate Randy Moss as a franchise player Thursday, but there was no word from the team on whether they had reached a contract agreement with the wide receiver or are allowing him to become a free agent.

  40. Comment posted by DoctorK16 on February 21, 2008 at 11:10 pm (#614769)

I think baseball in NYC might end of Jeter or DWright got caught up in steroids. It would crush the fans bases in way that it might never recover.

ollie does have more service time.

i have no clue if ollie will win. the process is a little hard to predict imo. if i had to bet i would say no.

Nothing personal, but I hope the Mets played hardball during the hearing and brought up his epic fail in the 3rd-to-last game of the season last year.

I actually sort of hope that the Mets didn’t break out the big guns in the arbitration hearing. Anything they say against Ollie will just tell Boras what he needs to spin in his gigantic Get Ollie Paid book next year.

Speaking of the devil…I find it interesting that Gary Sheffield apparently called Boras a “bad person”

if im reading this right, wang and the yanks were only 600,000 apart and he lost after a 19 win season. yanks said he had the best run support in the league. wangs agent said wang was the michael jordan of Taiwan.

mets and boras are a lot further apart, arent they?

It doesn’t look particularly good for Ollie. Hopefully, if he loses, it won’t affect his performance during the season. But with Ollie’s temperament, I wonder.

boras will have ollie focused on 2008 regardless of the arbitration outcome.

good 2008 = huge payday. boras knows what ollie needs and will give it to him to get him ready.

  69. Comment posted by ITAC on February 21, 2008 at 11:48 pm (#614787)

If Ollie isn’t motivated to prove the Mets wrong on a contract season because of hurt feeling during an arbitration meeting, then I don’t want him pitching longterm for this team at the salary he will inevitably command as a free agent.
