Yeah, Easley can hit more than well-enough as a bench back-up.
The weird thing about the Mets is… they have a really good bench, there’s no doubt about that. Castro when he’s healthy, Endy when he’s healthy, Gotay, Easley, Marlon as strictly a pinch-hitter.
They’ve got a bench that can play all the positions and can hit quite well for back-ups.
Oh, the starting line-up is three stars and a mix of five injury-riddled-has-beens and/or never-weres but… strong bench!

According to Newsday, the Mets and Aaron Heilman have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year $1.2-million contract.
Pedro Feliciano, Ryan Church, Endy Chavez, Oliver Perez and Jorge Sosa have all exchanged salary figures with the Mets and filed for arbitration, but are free to continue negotiations in an attempt to reach an agreement before a ruling is made.

I use rotoworld as a reference for FA and that kind of stuff. I find them to be very accurate, it is possible they’re wrong.
