The Cowboy fans are really screaming. What is their problem? Who cares who says what. Just shut up and play the game. This is really funny!
I’m sure 71 thinks the Cowboys will win….which he should!
Malusis is doing a number on the Giants fans now to try and rile them up. I think all the rhetoric is silly. We’ll see on Sunday.

yeaaaaaaaa….I’m starting to think he sucks. I just took a look at his stats, he must still be learning. only plays 22 MPG and hardly played his sophmore year.

Dode’s been average 6.5 blocks a game this year though. 12 points and 8 boards too. not bad for 22MPG.

but NC Ashe plays D3 schools. so he better dominate those fools if he wants a pro career chance

Who was on delgados case big time last year? was it doc? delgado needs 2 more years of 35 hr for 500

  47. Comment posted by Doc wants Isiah fired immediately on January 9, 2008 at 7:20 pm (#588244)

Me get on Carlos D case, I think you confuse me with future.

  48. Comment posted by Wdwrkr35 on January 9, 2008 at 7:21 pm (#588245)

If he can bounce back and get 35 hr this year, he has a shot at that extension and getting #500 as a met. Especially if Omar sells the farm for Santana

  49. Comment posted by sheadenizen on January 9, 2008 at 7:22 pm (#588246)

No…..it wasn’t Doc….I’m sure. He wouldn’t get on Delgado. Can’t remember who it was though.

There are quite a few candidates to single out for special rooting privileges this season:

Delgado, because no offensive player will draw more boos than an aging, struggling slugger.

Church and Schneider, because people have been prolific assholes about these two.

Castillo, because he and his knees have that four-year deal. (Hey, I’m guilty on this one, too.)

Pelfrey and Humber, better known as Not Verlander.

Heilman. C’mon, you know he’s gonna blow a high leverage situation, and then we’ll be wondering why we didn’t trade him for Joe Blanton.

Even Jose, whom I’ll bet will draw fire for being on the yeyo the first time he looks bad striking out or pops up.

Yeah, these two are the big ones I will look to support this season as I know there will be alot of jerks in NYC waiting for them to fail.

sorry wood, i am in and out tonight. the game is the travel IQ game from trip advisor that someone posted a few days ago.

dep, i have tried some of the other games. you can focus on regions (e.g. north america, africa) or find countries when the give you just the flag (hard as hell).

Delgado batting .270? Alou in 120 games? Good Lord.

Whatever he’s smoking, please, pass it over here. Sounds like good stuff.

Perez’ll be better than that. Maine… uh… it’s probably fair, as much as I don’t wanna admit it. If Sosa’s a starting pitcher for the Mets next season, though, we’re in a whole lotta trouble. I sure hope Pedro puts in more innings than that.

no we did not as far as i know, the mets dont do arbitration

but we did offer him a contract I believe and he has a while now to decide on that (i’m honestly not sure of the rules, but i dont think sosa can talk to other teams, but I’m not 100% sure), the mets and he will work something out I’m sure.

all these other players are in the same boat and were “tendered” contracts back in december (vs. non-tendered or released)….

    Endy Chavez
    Pedro Feliciano
    Aaron Heilman
    Oliver Perez

For those of you talking about that Asheville kid. He:s actually 7′7 and huge. Asheville’s other main threat is like 5′9 and to see those two play off each other is a sight. I was at the game and it was one of the most entertaining teams I can remember. The knock on the guy is that his knees are a mess and he can’t play more than about 5 minutes at a time. But that only added to the humor of the game.
