OK Willie and Omar, get it done, bring Millege to Shea.

Anything to report on Endy’s rehab?

Milledge in left, Gomez in right next year; I like it!

gomez will be in left and milledge will be in right

gregf1106, Is that the thinking? I would think that the better fielder (Gomez) and the one with the stronger arm (Gomez) would play right.

But if they are both the outfield, I’ll be happy (until they start to suck of course).

I wouldnt be so quick to annoint Gomez a starting OF next year.

he could use a year at AAA.

his bat isnt even close to MLB ready imo

i agree if they are both in the outfield i’d be happy too, although gomez hasnt taken the best route on balls he makes up for it in speed and seems to have a better knack in left (from what i’ve seen) milo has a more than adiquet arm for right (sorry for the spelling)

    I heart Ruben Tejada.

Another VSL Met of note: Let’s get Juan Torres to the States. The 18 year-old third baseman is hitting .322/.382/.461 with 14 BB and 18 K. He’s not a speed guy, but he’s got some pop and I love his contact rate.

I was going to get excited about JR Voyles, but he’s 23 and playing at Brooklyn.

Milledge is a man on a mission. I love it. Gomez will eventually get more patient but I would love to see him up with the club next year some time. His speed and defense is much needed in the OF. Milledge the future is NOW!

Gomez probably won’t QUITE be ready?

But Gomez splittin’ a little time with Endy is better than any number of aging powerhitters who can’t field and will only be healthy for fifteen games and…

We know that’s what Omar would sign.
