wow great games for gomez and humber.
I shudder to think how good GOmez will be this year, since he has been awesome each of the last two years and he started super-slow…..he is off to a torid start - which really makes me wonder what Milledge’s future is….
I was in BP’s chat the other day and someone asked nate silver two years from now who would u rather have milledge or gomez…….he said Milledge — I don’t think this one is close.
So I guess some people have jumped on gomez bangwagon yet but if he continues to do this in AAA im sure he will start opening alot more eyes.
ALL DANIEL STEGALL DOES IS SCORE RUNS
Kneel before Gomez!
KNEEL!
Kneel before Gomez!
KNEEL!
The crazy part is Gomez has a history of slow starts.
If this is his slow start, I feel bad for AAA pitching in the 2nd half of this year, Carlos gonna wear y’out
Which one is IPOR?
IPOR = Anderson Hernandez
IPOR = In Play Outs Recorded
Thanks John
Wait, what are these things at the top of the page with numbers in them? Is there actual baseball being played somewhere?
Boy….our St Lucie line-up BLOWS!
Lastings goes 1 for 5 and raises his average.
I just want this for he record, IPOR hit a HR off a knuckleballer, RA Dickey
Gonna be interesting to see what happens if a Mets outfielder goes on the DL sometime around the all-star break and Gomez is hitting .100 higher than Lastings. I’m sure they want to give Gomez a full season at AAA, and yes, it’s early, but .419??? Sheesh.
I notice that he was picked off, so, er, he’s human.
Nice to see Humber with a solid outing. And a little love for Jacob Ruckle and his 0.00 ERA, huh?
Now I know how Green feels.
An yet they are 6-4, pitching is everything.
Milledge gets called up before Gomez, unless Milledge starts sulking and not playing hard or something.
none of the Mets other MiL teams have a winning record.
NO 6-6
BMETS 2-4
SAV 3-8
Guerra has pitched 10 IP in 2 starts and St. Lucie Mets have scored 0 runs while he was in. Neise has been a bit luckier, 0 run support his first start, but 4 in his second.
The best part about Gomez’s 3-for-3 is that he also walked twice. If he takes The Leap at the plate, he’s a phenomenal prospect. He’s going to go through a funk though, let’s see how he responds.
Last year he did well after getting off to a bad start and an injury, I think he’ll be OK.
Not only is Gomez walking…his K’s are down….only 6 in 12 games…..
Ruckle is a relief pitcher in St lucie I see, maybe they are trying to save his arm with that freaky delivery.
I notice you cant bookmark players on MiLB.com anymore ;-(
