Update: Geeks in the Bleachers Night
Metsgeek.com will hold its first annual Geeks in the Bleachers Night this Wednesday when the Mets host the Padres at Shea. Just an update for everyone, we’ll be meeting up beginning at 5:30 p.m. across from the day of game ticket sales booth on the right field side of the stadium (not too far from the subway entrance). We figure to buy tickets once the majority of people have shown up - sometime around 6:00-6:15. To help us out, if you are definitely coming Wednesday night, please reply in this thread so we can get a better idea of how many people are showing up. And if you think you’ll be late (after 6:15), tell us. Some of us can wait around for people. We don’t bite. All the Geeks will be present, except for the honeymooning Eric Simon, who is leaving for Hawaii Monday morning. So come on out. I’m trying to get to tomorrow night’s game. I’m assured that everyone will be on their best behavior?
And what is there to do on nights with no Mets games? (All non sexual comments welcomed)
I assure you that I will be on my best behavior tomorrow night. Unfortunately, I won’t be at the game, either, but I’m sure the Geeks will be fine - just bring a sponge to blot the drewl and be prepared to pose for the cameras. :)
I’m interested in going to the Wednesday game (for the Geeks in the Bleachers Night) with my dad. I’m 99.9% sure we’ll go barring any major problems. I’m just posting here because you guys asked kindly.
Is there any way to get a list of the folks who will be there? I’m trying to make it, but its a hard choice between Wed and Thursday…
